OK so here is the deal....
Car wouldnt start, I posted on another thread, but ran out of time trying to deal with it stuck at work so I bit the bullet and had it towed to a mechanic (Figured it would be quicker and easier to have it checked) I allready had it narrowed down dramitically but like I said I was running out of time......Sooooo now the problem is that I am a new guy in town never needed a mechanic before and had no clue where to take it, well I picked one of convience (Location) and one that had capabilities of running diaginostics, warrented work and licenced......Well now that my car is there and torn apart they clame 1.5 hrs of laber for diaginostics to figure the fuel pump relay is bad (Fuel pump is kicking on) they order the parts UPS!!!! instead of FedX so close to christmass, my car has been there for a week now wating for this part, and he tells me that he is not 100% shure that's the prob, might be a bad crank angle sensor (Which could have been gotten same day from local autoparts, I allready checked on that one) I mean if he is grabbing at straws would you start with avaliable parts 1st????? Anyway what should I do??? I really get the feeling he dont know what he is dooing, and that he doesnt have diagnostic equipment, I asked him if the ECU was good, he said it Might be bad....WTF??? Might be???? Well check it right???? So what to do???? Any coments or similar experiance???? Sorry if this is poasted in the wrong section was iffyas to where to poast this at.....Just ugh.....
