Ok, I've noticed a big change lately in my RPMs when i turn off my headlights in the morning when i get to work. My normal idle lately has been between 800-1000. When I turn off my headlights the idle jumps up about 200-300 rpms then steadys back down again. Is this a problem? And if so would hyperground or making my own hyperground like wires help this?

I think a lot of DSMs have general electrical problems. Grounding wires can't hurt.

Other things I would look at, in order from simple/cheap to complicated/expensive are:

Battery Terminals / clean terminals / new wire terminals
Alternator connection
New Battery
Ground Wires
New Alternator

In general though, the electrical load from something like headlights _is_ enough to affect our idle, I definitely notice the car having to change timing and the ISC when I turn it on/off.

Hope that helps some.

Vert true...it really is not that big of a problem, headlights(especially ones linked with fogs) create quite an amount of draw on the alternator and thus changing the rpms. But, after you turn on the headlights does the car fluxuate in rps the whole time???
