sporadic idle

I have a 95 tsi awd, 92 six bolt swap in it. I have sparatic idle, after engine warms up, and if you unplug the MAS it quits the sparatic idle. Its not the MAS because I changed it out. It does the sparatic idle on any MAS. So what could I do to go about fixing this? All advice is appreciated. Let me know. Thanks.

ok this is what me and my brother did when my car did that.... get some throttle body intake cleaner and clean it.... then unhook the battery for like 4 or 5 minutes just to kinda let the computer reset then u should be good.

The sporadic idling can be either your idle Control Motor or your throttle posisiton Sensor.

Cleaning the intake with cleaner will help but not for long. If your car throws an engine light, have it tested while the light is on to make sure and find out if its one of the two sensors.

Adjusting the BISS with the computer grounded will fix most idle problems. In addition to the advice already given, I would also mention that leaky capacitors in the ecu can also cause idle problems.
