Because of the topic, the car won't start.

i've narrowed it down to a short on the throttle cable, because if i disconnected the harness form the throttle body it reads 0%. It's reading the same 100% when closed on my working spare throttle body too. 100% throttle readings causes the ecu on the car to not start.

My question is, is there a diagram to where the cables connect to ? I think im just gonna cut the wires and re-hardwire it.
i need to get home for xmas :(

Your post is a little vauge, but if I understand what you're saying it sounds like you need to check your throttle settings on the SAFC and make sure the arrow is pointing up.

sorry, throttle cable sensor being the wire connection on the tps on the throttle body. that wire is shorting somewhere between the TB and the ecu causing the safc to read 100% when plugged into the tps.

i figured out where the throttle cable is, i'll try again today to find the short, its really pissing me off...

yeah, ill check my safc for that also. thanks
