Well I was at my dads house today and he has a really big yard and it had just snowed so I decided to do a lil drifing. :shhh: I only went around 2 times and then decided to leave. I get out on the highway and as soon as i get above 55mph the car starts shaking like crazy! My only guess is that I knocked it out of alignment. Just keep in mind that I dont know jack about suspension or any of that crap so bare with me.

SNOW.

this happened to be before,
going round and round snow flew up and into your rims and got packed in.

i wouldnt be suprised if it has melted away, but i would imagine, its snow packed in your wheel.

Wouldn't have thought of that here in So. Ca. :), way to go. Might have knocked a wheel weight off or even damaged a tire sidewall but I'm more inclined to think you got it right.

Let us know if the problem just melted away.

Cheers,
GTM

Now now, don't get too sure for there is always something to jump up and bite you in the back side.

Mean't to include if it's staying below freezing all day he could take the garden hose (if it's not frozen solid too) and hose them down. Gas fired hot water heater drains usually have a hose connection which would even be better. As a last resort the $2 car wash has hot water and he gets to clean his wheels.

Don't use water if it's below freezing. The water can unseat the tire beads while it is freezing/expanding, its happened to me before.

Wow, that a new one to me. Anyone else ever had that problem? Would seem to me if he took it out and drove it before it froze there wouldn't be enough left to cause any harm. I can remember my college days in Eugene when I'd have to hose off the windshield but it never stayed below freezing all day.

Cheers,
GTM

Sweet. I parked it in the garage overnight so it should have all melted away. I was hoping it would be something simple like that and I did notice there was a ton of snow packed in the rims. I will take it out today and let ya know what happens.

thanks guys

BTW: GTM - my brother poured hot water on his windsheild one day to get all the ice off and it cracked it in several places. Be careful. But then again he was using hot water and you were using a garden hose....but you never know.
