I have finally completed my turbo, mani, and o2 housing swap from stock to all evo iii components. I have a couple questions.
1. Please take a look at the pic and tell me if this is alright for a temporary oil feed location for my turbo. I will be getting the correct fitting in about a week, the one that goes by the oil filter, will this one supply my turbo well enough for this week.
2. After doing the turbo swap, I hear a whistling sound like it is the turbine wheel spinning, it increases and decreases with acceleration. Is this normal for the Big 16G's, cuz on my stock t-25, i never heard anything. I thought that since it is a bigger wheel maybe it is normal, or is it a problem in reference to question one. Maybe the turbine is not getting oil and spinning dry.
3. Due to putting the evo iii O2 housing on, my downpipe doesn't bolt up, i am driving it around now without it bolted up, I heard that some people do this when they race, but just wanted to be sure it is o.k. I am also getting a check engine light, but i am assuming since the motor runs great that it is due to the o2 sensor in the exhaust pipe that is not reading any exhaust to due being disconnected.
Please anyone with knowledge in the matter please respond, I have to go to work in about five hours.
