:laser: ok... anyone that can help me... there are 5 of them screws that the lug nuts screw on to... when i was changing a tire, 1 or the screws broke off... need some help on what to do... or can i just leave it since its only 1... but if it needs to be replaced what is the part name... thanks

Big danger there is if the "nub" of the Wheel Stud rattles loose at 60 mph & jams up in the hub somehow - that would NOT be pretty - But will 4 out of 5 hold the tire on - certainly - it's not a difficult repair.

thanks buck... you have any suggestions on how to fix it... and a link or something thanks a lot

-Have to remove either the rotor or the drum depend on front or rear, knock out the broken one and install a new one, measure the length of the good one to get a right size.

might want to order new rotors, if they havent been off in a while then you are going to have a good time taking them off without damaging them (thats another story) but for taking the broken lug off my buddy and i drilled his out, just kept using bigger bits until we were able to tap it out, also use some liquid wrench or something, goodluck

CAPS shows the wheel studs are being 12mm x45mm. They are pressed in, but once you push the old one out you can pull the new one in by torquing the lug nut down on it.
The replacement part is listed as MB303869 replaced by MB911495 about $2 each.

A method I've used is to stack a series of large nuts as shims. This way you can see the progress without dismounting the wheel, if you have a spare lug nut rather than the mag acorn nuts so much the better for you can thread it down almost to the end of the treads.

Cheers,

My stock mag lug nuts are open end so they can be run down all the way but I'd put a washer or two between the nut and the rotor to avoid messing the nut up.

A big tire shop can swap it out in five minutes. Broken studs on DSMS is very common, and it's common enough on all cars that it's routine stuff to fix. Pull wheel, bang out, bang in, install wheel. Ten bucks.:thumb:
