TEST ONLY SMOG!! need info

sup guys, i was wondering if it would be possible to pass the test only with these mods:
3" turbo back w/ cat
buschur upic w/ greddy type s bov
free mods
compression
cylinders 1: 155
2: 158
" " 3: 145
" " 4:115

I don't have my stock exhaust. it was deteriorated and all f'up. has anyone gotten a test only and tried smogged with mods on? need to know asap so i can do sumthing about this. it's due in FeB. thanks Joel

Your compression numbers indicate a problem. Number four is way out of wack. I would expect a poor driving condition which would then translate in to poor emissions output. As for the legality and actual emissions output of your car... I'm on the East Coast and can't be of any more use to you there.

I have had a lot of problems in this area but after a coupe months of stressing over it and going to many different shops, I found that if you can find someone who will work with you on it you'll be fine. I always ask for a pretest. If the guys a dick at all I find someone else. There are people that will help you to get it passed and not charge you an arm and a leg to do so. As far as the exhaust goes, I don't think you'll have an issue there provided your cat is good. On visual your IC pipes may be an issue with some and not others. If it was me, I would through the stock rubbers back on, make sure the air can is 100% stock, no hacking, make sure your O2 sensor is perfect and see if you can do something about the variation in the cylinders. I haven't tried "Restore" but I've heard it can help with compression problems related to rings. Make sure all the simple things are cool like your check engine light is ok and not on. If you do have aftermarket parts that aren't noticeable like my big 16G turbo, it's best not to say anything. These things aren't going to affect the readings but when you say it's been upgraded that could stop the test right there. I just had my 90 GSX done about two months ago. I knew my O2 sensor was bad so I replaced it. My cat was only about four months old but it needed to be replaced to get the readings down. I have a stock unhacked air can for smog tests only. I made sure nothing looked modded in the engine compartment. Compression is high and even across all four. With a little playing with the BISS screw it passed ok.

well if you are venting then no(unless you have a maf-t or something to fool the engine for the missing air in the intake) but if you are not venting then you should be gravy, someone correct me if i am wrong
