Temecula,
I tried to install an autometer boost gauge and it failed! I followed the intructions from vfaq.com. I connected a "T" fitting into the lower vac line of the fule pressure control solenoid valve. I had to replace the original small vac line it came with, with something a little larger to fit the plastic "T". I need some advice.

make sure you got the right one, it should be tapped to the line that is on the throttlebody that is closest to the firewall

I tapped the one on the drivers side, right next to the brake fluid reservoir. Thats not right? I was told to tap into the line that goes into the middle of the intake manifold. btw I have a 94 gsx...

I have a 90 tsi fwd and mine was tapped on the lines that are onto the throttle body, it can be tapped other places, im not sure if the place is correct where you did or not, im just learning alot of this stuff to.
:talon:

2 lines actually, for me anyways, the other 2 are on the side,
if you do have three im not sure which to tap, check you manuel to see which one it is

Your 90 Throttle Body will be different that Bro's 94...just my two cents...I mean if he is tapping off of the Fuel Pressure Regulator Solenoid it shouldn't matter...but the T.B.'s are different...

Arif.

oh yea I forgot to ask do you know where I can tap in for my power and ground wire for the gauge light?

I got my boost gauge working! Tapped it on the throddle body. I'm actually boosting 10psi all gears. thanks for the helpevery one.

ur throttle body is the easiest to hook up but i ehard its not as accurate as the one by the brake fluid resivour but i had 2 lines and i t'ed the right one and my boost guage works fine dont forget to make sure theres no spots to pinch the hose
