Do unused ported outlets on TB need to be plugged??

I'm not using any of the 4 outlets on my TB (91 GSX). The "P" port has vac, whereas the others don't. I have that outlet plugged, but what about the others? I could just plug them to be safe, but that wouldn't satisfy my curiosity!!

Yea, plug them all,
from what i understand, differnt ports open/close at different vac boost levels, so they wouldnt be closed at idle when you check them.
