My car does not want to start and sometime I end up killing the battery before I can get it to fire up. I put new wires in and am going to try new plugs.... Has anybody had this issue with the dsm and if so what could be the solution? Thanx in advance.

typically i don't want to hold the throttle to the floor or even play with it since it is efi.... plus i don't want rev my engine in the cold so i don't do any damage. so no i don't cavitate the throttle when starting car.

The reason I asked is because if you hold the throttle past like 80% or something like that, the computer will spray less fuel when you are cranking. I was just curious if you may be running too rich to start when it is cold.

I thought of that too, but then i realized that i never engage the throttle when starting.... oh well just do some hit and miss replacing of some various sensors. Thanks for the try though.
