ok heres a little background on the problems that i have been haveing it started about a month ago i was on my was to work got in my car and started it i heard a werd noise like something under pressure i turned it off and looked under the car oil was everywhere,i then took it to a shop and the said the oil cooler nut was loose and tightened it . all was well until a week ago when i was on the freeway doin 70mph when i felt like a shudder or a jerk from that point i had no power and smoke was pouring out of the exhaust faint blueish tint . so back to the shop and i was told it was a head gasket and my turbo was shot and the price to rebuild the motor will be around 600-700 plus a new turbo which i am supplying (t28 killer) . The car is stock with 74,000 miles on . i was told that the turbo was burning oil went out and caused the head gasket to go. my question to u is does this sound right and could the oil cooler have been torqed down too much and cause the turbo to starve for oil and blow the head gasket ? any reply will be appreciated
