Alright, it's been a month since i got my car back from the shop. I have already had to take it back for a new spark plug that mysteriously went bad at the shop, and they needed to stop a squeaking belt they replaced. Now there is this squeaky noise constantly under my hood, but I can't tell where its coming from... could it be the tensioner they replaced? Someone else said that it is probably that... also, when i give it some gas and i get to around 7-8 psi, there is this annoyingly loud squeak that I'm guesing is the tensioner or whatever that afformentioned noise is only louder. Is that it? Also, i'm second guessing the work of this shop :( now, and I think they may have just slapped the thiming belt on without lining it up, because now it seems like second gear takes way longer then it used to when I am flooring it. Could that be bad timing or a boost leak??? Because the boost hits 12-13, then drops off to 9 around 4500 when it never used to drop that low even when I was ready to shift. Thanks a lot, sorry for the long post.

take it to another shop and get it checked out,
i dont think a boost leak would hit 12 - 14 then drop, unless you were running more than that origionally

Check for boost leaks, if there are none, check your timing.

I ought to make a macro that automatically puts that there when I need it. :p

Any idea what the squeaking could be? It sounds like it's coming from under the engine somewhere in the middle. When I floor it I don't know where it comes from, but it seems to also be in the middle.

Hey, thanks to all for helping. LordPaxin, I think you got it on the nose. I went out and started the car, and barely put my foot on the clutch, and the squeaking stopped. So that takes care of one problem, the guy at the shop will be happy with the next 8 free hours of labor he does to my car. But would the loud noise when I floor still be the throwout bearing? Because there is more pressure on it? So it makes this loud noise? Thanks
