I bought my car about a half a year ago and everything was sounding fine. Yesterday I started hearing some weird noises like clunking metal. Now when I turn off my car I can hear something stop spinning and making a clunk noise. Could this be my crankwalking? Anyone else ever hear something like this before?

How long after you shut off the car does whatever you are trying to describe keep spinning? If it is only like 2 or 3 revolutions, it could be something attached to the crank shaft(by means of belts or otherwise). If it seems to spin for a while, could be the turbo.

u sure that it is metal clunking around? you might want to check and make sure your belts arent jumping over and tearing, mine did this, it just frayed (spelling?) the belt causing the loose ends to spin and hit different parts of the car. It doesnt quite sound like the problem your having but you might want to check anyways, dsm's have a problem with belts jumping alot expecially at higher rpms.
