alright tonight i raced a 97 5.0 mustang and i would pull real hard on him like, 7 or 8 car lengths, i drive a 99 GSX big 16g ported and clipped, 660 inj, big greddy fmic, no cat, test pipe, etc. etc, well the last run we did i didnt want to over work my turbo so i would shift at about 5 grand, he was stayin even so i shifted at 7 grand from 2nd to 3rd and from wat ppl are tellin me i guess i blew a large cloud of black smoke from my xhaust, i know my car runs real rich but im not sure if i messed something up, my turbo still pulls hard like it did b4, engine sounds the same, everything sounds bout normal, so i was jus wondering what that cloud was and did i mess anything up? thanx alot everyone

i wouldn't worry about it its just rich it won't hurt anything......may check ignition timing and charge/intercooler pipes

what do u mean by check the charge/intercooler pipes?

make sure all of your charge pipes and intercooler piping is tight and not leaking any air, secon put a timing light on the car and check the ignition timing
