Lubbock,
I just installed a new intake pipe on my Laser turbo. Everything went in fine, hooked it all back up like it was, and took her for a test drive. No leaks, everything seemed fine until I hammered the loud pedal. Boost guage immediatly pegged to 25 psi. I have a Blitz SSBC, and last night when I drove the car everything was as usual, 9-10 psi with BC off, 14psi low setting, 18 psi high setting. Now no matter what on or off it peggs out. I traced all of the BC lines and they are correct, just like they were last night. The only connector that I unplugged today was the MAF, and the only vacumn line I touched was the BC solenoid to Wastegate. I put it back and have checke to make sure it was on there, and even replaced the line to triple check.

Has this happened to anyone else????? I am not new to these cars, been with this one for 6 yrs now, and done everything myself. I have narrowed it down to a leaking WG diaphram, or the BC solenoid shit out in a matter of minutes.

Any ideas???????????

I'm currently having the same problem. Only thing is that I have recently just replaced some exhaust gaskets. Know mine won't over boost. It is really annoying.

Got her fixed today, hose going to the wastegate was getting pinched in half, then tearing. I used a small butane torch and a pair of pliers to tweak the wg nipple out of the way of the intake coupling.

Thanks for your responses.
