hey im a new member as you can tell. i bought a 91 talon last saturday drove it for 2 days and after i tried to start it again it wouldnt start.
now i have tried to almost everything ive read on this board(searched for many hours) and still cant figure whats wrong with it.
so far this is what i've done:
thought it was flooded(i still think it is) let it sit for like 1 day and tried again. same thing.
replaced spark plugs cleaned the area they sit in and tried. didnt work.
now this is what i did my self. i took it to the mechanic and they were like this is flooding too much. i read up a little more on flooding on these boards and dsmtalk and found that the ecu on these cars is weak and sometimes can cause this to happen. my question is before i go out and replace the ecu is there anything else i need to check?
i took the car away from the mechanics since they were dumb asses(all they did to check the problem is try to start it 4 times in 2 hours). anyways thanx for any responses.
