low idle, very slow acceleration

Ok I'll do my best to explain. I have this intermittent problem, mostly happens after I drive but sometimes when I first start it up. So I don't thinks its something heating up and failing. The problem is my idle goes down to like 100-200rpms and the acceleration is minimal. I have to floor it to get to move, it takes me I'm at like 4500rpm and Im only going 25mph. I'm not getting a CEL. So where should I start?

Thanks for the link, I'll check all that out over the weekend. However is what I have idle surge? I was under the impression that when u get idle surge it spikes high and not low like its going to stall. Also I didn't think idle surge affected normal driving.....just the idle when u stop.

I am having the same problem. I don't see how that link could have been usefull to you. Did you get the problem fixed? I was searching the forums looking for similar problems. So far the only similar problem was resolved by new spark plug wires and service to the fuel injectors. So what is the update? any other suggestions?
