i just got done replacing my intake manifold which was leaking, had replaced all the vacuum hoses, replaced both upper and lower IC pipes with ones i knew were in working order, tested my IC in a bath tub, the injector o rings are nice and tight, biss screw/o ring are less then 6 months old, replaced the BOV with a working order one, if i take off the hose going to the actuator then i will build more boost, i do not have a real boost gauge yet, and i know you folks are going to say to get one, but a)i can feel there is not enough power (when 6banger stangs beat you) b)even though the stock "boost" gauge is not a true reading, its still an idiot light and works to some of an extent. i cant really think of much else to why i would have a boost leak. i am thinking possibly something with the ecu, but i am not sure, i also replaced the bcs with another bcs and its still not working right. and also to throw a spin to it, boost came back to me one morning while i was taking a girl home, a few days later i went back away:confused:

thanks for any help in advanced,
jeff

I would suggest removing all your intake components. (Upper IC piping, MAFS, filter, the intake pipe that goes to your turbo inlet.) then put it back on and make sure everything fits right, no force needed. The tighten all your clamps again. I had a similar boost leak which gave me a mean studder and lag when i was in boost. I took everything off, cleaned it and took care to put it back on, now it works really well.

well i have pretty much have done all of that and still no change, plus i believe the leak would have to be after the turbo, since it was before the turbo thats why i think you were getting the studdering, but for me, she runs just fine, i spool up normally, i just dont get that kick in the ass feeling, its dead in top end.
thanks though

edit: fixed spelling

actually the leak was after my turbo, it was from the IC to the UICP I had clamped it in, but it wasn't seated properly i had to force it in. I just took the intake off for shits and giggles, besides it was kinda fun to play with my turbo hahaha
