car wont start after accident

hey guys,

today sucked as i discovered the joys of hydroplaining and hitting a cement divider . as it happened the engine shut off while stuff like lights and stereo work just fine. when i try to run the key, starter wont turn, even initial lights on the gauge cluster wont come on. now i wonder, is it some kind of dsm saftey feature? or did something get ####ed up?

Ouch. Something is broke, but don't know without looking at the car...way to many variables.
