I have a 95 GS auto, recently try to start my car

My ignition fuse keeps blowing and I have no clue why ?
I went threw three of them already. Once i put a new fuse and turn the key I get a tick tick then pop goes the fuse. Any ideas why

put a higher rating fuse im not sure what yours is but try going like 30 amps higher.. it worked for my friends gst and dont go to autozone go to lappens ... if that dont work probably check your alarm... music system .... ?

Unless you want a fire DO NOT put a higher amp fuse in it, if you have an after market alarm that is probably the culprit.Unplugging the alarm won't help, its more than likely in the alarm wiring and not the alarm itself.

So i should remove the alarm and the alarm wiring...I think i will check on that next...I unplug the alarm but did not remove the alarm wiring.

Find a new shop and mechanic, electrical problems are not hard to track down.

dude check for any metal parts that maybe interfering with your connection. i remember once in my firebird, a screw dropped in my lighter thingy, and it would always pop my accessory fuse, so check for any tools you may have left, check your ignition relay for interfering wiring.
