2G 6 bolt swap CAS question

I just completed a six bolt swap and fired my car up for the first time. So far I can't get the car to idle. It will stay running but I have to keep the throttle up to about 2000RPMs or it will die.

I have spark in all 4 cylinders and fuel in all 4. I'm backtracking everything I can think of and have a question about the CAS. The CAS that I got came off a 92 Talon. It has the black and red power wires but the 2 signal wires are white and black. All of the wiring diagrams on Magnus' and RRE show the CAS as having white and yellow signal wires.

I spliced the CAS into the white and the crank angle into the black but I'm wondering if this CAS is different. Can anyone confirm this?

Mike,

sounds like your ISC is either not connected or the motor is shot. I don't know if you have gotten it figured out yet but that is where I would start checking. The CAS dials in your timing not your idle.

It's good now. I basically tightened up the throttle cable a tiny bit and have it idling at 1200 pretty well. Its a combo of the 272 cams/VPC/2g ecu not liking each other too much but its driveable.

Its just temporary. The car's getting an Accufab TB and an EMS and a list of other stuff. I just needed to get the motor running first to make sure everything was wired and running close to right.
