HELP... engine ticking!!!

ok, well i was taking the car for a qucik spin and it drove normal, nothing to complain yet, after a while i went to get gas and about 2 minutes after driving back, i heard what seemed like a loud screach, kind of like a tire chirping but not quite, it stoped rite away but after about 3 minutes or so the car started ticking LOUD, and everytime i came to a complete stop my car would stall. The car also seemed like it didnt want to move at all, the turbo was boosting but the car still didnt move. This has only been the second time i put gas in the car, since its been sitting in my garage for a while, now the first time i put gas in my car about 2 mins after when ever i would touch the gas pedal it would start jerking/hoping around, but after that i turned off the car and a while later i turned it back on and everything was back to normal. Ohh and i think i need a new ISC motor for the TB, could that be it? or could there be something wrong with my fueling system, i also herd that loud tickings could be the cams, anyone have any sugestions, ohh and i checked the oil, looks good, any help is appreciated, thanks,

Did you check and see if all the belts were tight? Check your timing too, although i dont think that would happen.

just checked the belts, including timing, all looks good, i just turned on the car now, and it seemed better than yesterday but not perfect, there was no ticking at first but after i reved it alittle the ticking slowly started coming back... can anyone help, thanks in advance

tickng coming from upper portion or lower portion of the engine?

if its comin from the upper part of the engine...its just lifter tick...nothin serious...my car ticks like a maniac...but oh well...its just another noise DSM'ers are gonna have to live with it

other than that like the stallin problem and the boost problem...look for leaks...i dunno what else to tell yah

if its coming from the botton then.. i hate to say it but, it may very well be the 1st signs of :cough:crankwalk:cough:
