I'm taking my axels out and i got the calipers out and just the rotors are on and i'm stuck on the big nut holding it all on. I took the codder pin out , but is their anything else holding it on or do i just take the air gun to it. Because right now its not coming off. I have a 96 Talon TSI (FWD).

You can slap the calipers back on and have someone stand on the brakes while you use a 2 foot long breaker bar in the counter clockwise direction. Set the bar so you are pulling up for you can get more force unless you weigh 400 lbs. Use WD-40 on the nut before you try. Should have done this before you pulled the wheels, don't knock it off the jack stands while practicing your squat, don't use your back, use your legs like a weight lifter. You may find you have to put wheels back on and tires on ground.

When you get it broken loose and backed off a few turns get a block of wood and a big hammer, give it a good smack in case the splines are a bit rusty.

Cheers,
GTM
