I have a 90 talon Tsi. The car recently had a rebuild to include rings, head, gaskets, etc. It overheated once after the rebuild and it ended up being the radiator. After replacing the radiator I didnt have any problem until I pushed the car to redline and ended up shooting coolant out the overflow.
The next day I started it and tried to drive (after filling the radiator) and it hesitated. It stumbled through every gear and didnt gain any power. The engine shakes and there is oil buildup around number 4 cylinder. As I rev it, the oil bubbles up at this cylinder. There is also a noticable miss and some oil in the tailpipe.

What I need to know is what to check, and how to check it. Thank you.

Hmm. If you overheated the engine there is a chance you could have warped the head which would cause the car to run very shitty and could be why its spitting oil like that. Or you could have blown your head gasket when ya pushed it to redline. Check your compression, and see if there is oil in the coolant or coolant in the oil.
