THe other day i started my car, and my alternator pulley came off. after puttin it back on i noticed that my crank pulley wasn't straight, so whei i reached under the car, i was able to grab teh pulley and move it kinda easily. THe outside rim of the pulley moves, while the inside area is solid. I was told that it is probably a broken crank pulley. What belts go to the crank pulley, and how difficulkt is it to change?

The harmonic balancer (crank pulley) is a common failure item. There are two belts that go around it. One for the AC and one that drives the alternator and waterpump. Your Power Steering pump runs off the water pump pulley.
There are four bolts that hold the harmonic balancer to the crank sprocket, remove them and it usually comes right off. So it's pretty easy to change but it's an expensive part. Well worth ordering one from Conicelli and saving $25 or more off what it will cost at a dealer.

Just a stupid adddition, but, you know not to try to drive this car at all until fixed right? Sorry if I insulted you. Under drive pulley anyone?

You can drive the car, but more belts may throw off. My buddy jsut replaced his. Took 2hrs.

luckily when i noticed the pulley was crooked is when it made my alternator belt jump off. So there was no drivin done in this condition. Should i get the pulley from a junk yard, or is there a cheaper place. How much am i lookin at spendin on this part. If I take the splash guard off the buttom of the engine this should be a pretty easy part to replace, correct?
as long as i am at it should i put an underdrive pulley on?

There are different part numbers for depending on the year. So I don't think the 1G part is a good replacement.

1G 6 bolt ( through 9209) MD338315 ($122 list)
1G 7 bolt (9210 to 94XX) MD338316 replaced by MD376609 ($116 list)
2G 7 bolt MD338319 replaced by MD377604 ($124 list)
