I was comming home tonight from UBC, i notice on my rear veiw mirror theirs smoke, when i let off the Gas, A big Puff of smoke Emerges from the exhaust pipe, It seems to happen every time, i let off gas. It's fine during Idle n accelerating with no smoke. Sh#t i'm hopping is not my turbo!

welp that kinda sucks how does ur turbo run....do u feel boost at all....if there is any how much is there.....if the turbo were shot ude have no boost....or very little....u mite need to check the bearings and the gaskets and shit.....but when u let off the gas alot of smoke comes out thats kinda weird....what color is the smoke....let me know i mite be able to help u....

Sh%t! she is burning oil, the smoke is blue. i'm getting boost around 11psi, with the boost controller turn off. even when she is not under boost, i let go of the gas n she puffs out smoke. How much shift play is acceptable on the Garret T25? :barf:

im getting the same thing... when someone is following me they tell me that when i shift i get a puff of "blue smoke" out of the tail pipe. I can smell burning oil profussly throughout the whole car when i shift also. At idle or under throtle its fine. What could it be? Car only has 64000 miles on it...

see you guys have re realize our cars do use some oil, most porsches you roll off the factory line and when they accelerate or do a down shift they get a big ol pull of smoke too.

if it was smokein at idle and only at idle i would go wiht valve seals, it could be rings, could be turbo oil seal, or it could be totally normal,

do a compression check, then do a wet test. check your trubo for shaft play and any oil in the ic pipes,

good luck

oil in the intercooler pipes and a real little shaft play...the turbo? the poor thing is only a few months old
