Today after school it was pretty cold outside. So I waited in my car to let it warm up. I was letting it run about 2K rpms to get the oil circulating and the engine warm. As I was doing this my friend said alot of oil was just spitting out of my exhaust. I started to rev it some more and more oil was coming out. I know this cant be to good. Now I know why my car uses alot of oil. So what is the exact reason why my car spits out oil?

could also be worn out piston rings. I've seen that happen before.. but it wasnt solid oil just puffs of smoke. Maybe put your hand in front of it and check what hits your hand.. could very well just be dirty condensation.

i have a 96 talon that had been sitting for about one year....no when it runs there is white smoke blowing out...and when i rev it to like 6 grand a puff of blue smoke shoots out....and some dark fluid that could look like oil but its not......but its similar to urs....its prolly just condensation...ur pipes were just cold then u heated them up by starting the car and reving it....so check that and then tell me what other color smoke is coming out of it...

its cold out so theres gonna be water in the air its going to get into your exaughst and its going to land on all the black shit thats in there already. when you start your car it will start flowing past all that and coming out along with evaporating it. so white steam will come out and the water that doesnt get evaporated will flow out your exaughst and apear to be oil but not. if you stick your hand in front of it while its doing it you should see watery black stuff.

You would have to have some major bad piston rings for oil to accually come from under your piston and get shot out the exaughst port and more then likely your engine would just blow up if it saw that a couple of times cause they dont like to compress anything but air and fuel.

and the lue smoke is the reason why you are warming it up, to get the oil flowing. valves and stuff wont be operating at their best when they dont have warm oil on them. your air and fuel maybe be too lean at that time. but this happens to most cars when they are revved being cold.

Ahh. I never thought of the condensation shit. Next time its cold again ill check for it. Thx everyone.
