MAF or ECU or neither?

Okay, the car is not idleing correctly. Plugs, wires, coils, fuel...all good, all connections are made. Misses badly. I disconnect the MAF, and nothing changes!!! I looked at other posts, but did not find one where somebody disconnected the MAF plug and had no change of performance. Just wondering if I may have missed something else, or my ECU is bad, or if the MAF is in fact shot. Also, if I force the car to rev to about 5000, it finally stops missing, but as soon as it comes down, it misses again.

Sounds like you're running rich. You don't vent your BOV do you? You said 'all connections are made', are you POSITIVE all those parts are working perfectly, like have you datalogged or something? I had a cylinder not firing, which idled crappy, missed horribly, then improved a little at higher rpms.

My BOV returns, ALL connections are made, at higher RPM's, the car is not missing. Another thing I should add, this did not happen over time, it ran fine, I turned it off, started it, and it ran like this.

Got it fixed, after replacing the MAF, I had no change. Got to messing with other stuff, such as squeezing the wires to the front O2 sensor, waaalaaa, no more missing. I guess when I replaced the sensor, I did a bad job of my electrical connections.
