Please help turbo problem

Hi i got a question. Ok i just bought a 95 GS-X it its a 5 speed it has 110k miles . the mods are akimoto cool air intake, GReddy BOV, 5" exhaust. i bought the car in the bay area and on the way up here in northern cali it ran fine untill i got to higher elevation and it runs fine untill the turbo starts spooling when i go fast and it starts cutting out like it is holding back. like not enough fuel or something? so if anyone knows what i am talking about could you please help i would apreciate your help. thank you

Please explain more clearly man - I think it sounds like what happened to me months before the turbo locked up. What's the boost at when it happens? What's it at after it cuts out? You can't be getting fuel cut (it's what I thought with mine at first, but trust me there's no way), unless it's a fuel system problem. What you're describing kinda sounds like a timing pull, so maybe you're getting knock from a bad fuel ratio.

I am experiencing nearly the same problem!! I agree You need to be more specific w/ your information such as psi and rpm when it happens. Fuel cut will feel like you left your transmission about a 1/2 mile back the opposite direction like in drivers ed when your instructor hit the ohhhh shiiiiii&*&@# brake while you were driving...! I would first try to reset my ECU by disconnecting your neg battery cable for about one minute. It will clear out the codes in your ECU....it remembers previous problems (such as a large change in alt.)and will fuel cut. If it still fuel cuts you are in the same boat as me and have to go on a goose chase!

Ok sorry, the car starts doing it at about 5,000 RPM as soon as the turbo builds up all the pressure it starts shaking and it feels like the car doesn't want to go. the car runs fine until the turbo spools up then it does that. I did try disconnecting the battery but that did nothing. so please help and if you need more info let me know. Thanks

go back down elevation..see if it works again...it coul djust be that...if it works at lower elevations...then its obviously stating there isnt enough density in the air...

then come back and let us know what happened

Ok i tried the elevation and that did nothing so i heard from some one that it coil be the ignition coil has any one heard that or the spark plugs and wires. i any one could help that would be great. thanks guys
