tranny wire question

Well, its been a few months since I finished my a/t to m/t swap. It was fairly easy to do, and it was well worth it. It feels like a factory 5 speed and every thing is hooked up other than the cruise control.
My question is about the a/t plug that goes down to the tranny which tells the computer what gear the tranny is in. so with the a/t no longer there I have a plug that needs to be spliced somewhere and a guess connected to the clutch pedal switch. Does anyone have any idea what wires I would use to do this? any info would be helpful thanks.

Isn't there a seperate computer for the automatics? There was when I did my 1g auto-manual swap. So the plug that tells the computer what geat it is in is probably useless, because it goes to the autotranny.

Or are you talking about the plug that doesn't allow you to start the car when the auto is in gear?

yeah that plug, i figured out how to get the car to start without it plugged in, now i just need to know which of those wires are for the cruise control.

As for the computer, i just unplugged the TCU. that is not needed any more.

so did you get your cruise control to work?

nope, i have not. Though I have a different sort of cruise than you I belive.

looks like what i need, just for the wrong car. I looked in the factory man. and did not see anything like that for my car. I cant believe that there is so few people doing this swap as easy as it is, and of the ones that has completed the swap, I am surprised that non one has hooked up their cruise control yet.
