I have a viper alarm on my 2g and i just installed my greddy turbo timer. The turbo timer works fine, but now the alarm wont arm. It will lock/unlock the doors but when it does, it doesnt beep like it normally does. Even after the turbo timer has gone off it won't arm. I know im not the only one thats had this problem....anyone got solutions? Thanks

If I remember, you have to take off one of the alarm wires and hook it to the ACC on the stereo deck. You might be better off seaching since I know this was covered alot. I can't remember if that was it or not, but I think so.

Yea i looked around on a search a bit, but got conflicting answers....thats why i made another post about it. :dsm:

I just had my girlfriend and some friends help me wire up mine. If I am right, you have to leave the ignition wire off of the alarm so the turbo timer will work. In doing this, if you alarm is ever tripped you have to install a switch to get it to reset. At least that's how we did it. If you have any other more in-depth questions, PM me and we'll see if you can get you straightend out...

Viper alarms will arm regardless of ignition, or any other input.Sounds to me like it is in valet mode.Is your LED on solid? If it is open your drivers door and press button 1 then 2 then 1 again.
