I did a balance shaft elim kit. The back bearing of the front shaft bored the block out, the machine shop said un fixable. I used JB weld and it is holding up but there is not enough oil going to the head, it doesnt go dry but definatly not enough oil.

My soulution is take a line from the oil filter housing and run up to the valve cover with 2 lines one in front one in the back. drill and tap a line to have it spray across the cams to keep everything lubed up. I know i have to make sure not to crack the valve cover and all that kinda stuff but do you think the idea is something that might work.

Thanks
Jeremy

wouldn't do it if I were you. Better solutions if to place a larger diameter bearing in it's place or weld the oil hole shut. I wouldn't trust the JBweld for too long.
