Alright, we just rebuilt the motor for my laser, brand new everything pretty much. Turned it manually a few times and then turned it with the starter and it would crank over fine so we hooked the wires up and it started fine after turning over a few times. The car ran for about 30 seconds pretty good, it wasn't very stable in idle but idled desently. Then it died. We didn't think it was a big deal so we put the accessory belts on and the motormount, hooked everything back up and took it off the jacks then tried to start it and got nothing. The starter clunks and the engine will shake one time and then nothing at all. Almost sounds like it locked up somehow. Could the belts be too tight and the starter weak from turning the brand new set up so many times? Anyone have any guesses? The car's been broke since last december and its really pissing me off.

Thanks guys
