my friend has a 1st gen turbo eclipse. he bought it with the following. 16g on stock wastegate and turbo xs boost controller.. the turbo will not boost over 8lbs period dont know if its cause the wastegate or what need any help [email protected]
 
Sounds like fuel cut. I just put a big 16g on mine, and it fuel cut around 10 or so. Considering you have a boost controller, back it off all the way down. Don't mess with it until you get an AFC, and to run good levels, you will prolly need 550cc injectors and walboro 255 fuel pump. You might want to also make sure you have a good air filter on there like a k&n, and get rid of that goofy box. make a mount for the filter so it doesn't rub the frame. Don't do the cutting around the box mod, where it just has a little hole and keeps its cute little mount. Just take the ring off the bottom of the box, and use that. You want as much air as you can get into that.
