HELPP!!! K&N intake

I jus put a K&N cone filter on my 95GST and now its making a weird hi-pitched sound from the airfilter area. It will make the sound for a bit, stop, start,stop,etc. any ideas anyone?!?@?@

are you sure it isn't air being sucked into the engine. i mean it IS a higher flowing airfilter...

well i jus put it on last nyte and havent taken it out yet, i jus let it idle and i heard the noise, im gonna go2 school and ill let u guys kno wats up after ive driven it, thanx alot for the feedbac

that's what it sounds like.

but you said it's happening at idle? hmmm....

air leak.. wasteful dreamer said it correct. If your connections aren't tight, you will get that sound at idle.

If it's at idle, check for leaks.

COOL, ain't it? I think police whistles and those siren-rings taped all over the outside of the filter would _really_ do it. Work it just right, and make it play "Fool in the Rain".
