hey i have a boost\pressure question that i need answered right nooooow....someone please IM me at justin0469. the question is my air tank has like 35 psi in it but that just refers to how much air is in the tank right? how long should i keep it on my boost leak tester b4 i listen for leaks? i dont have the time or money for a boost gauge.

If you don't have the time or money for a boost gauge, you are in the wrong type of car. Without knowing how much pressure is in your system (not the tank) you risk damage during the leak test and on the road. Save up 30bucks and get a boost gauge.

...and get a damn boost gauge.

LOL well i did it with no gauge and im fine so ha LOL thanks though guys. like someone else said..."unless you have the throttle body open when ur pressuring even like a 120psi compressor wouldnt overpressure the system unless it was on there for like 10 min"

Good luck guessing at boost while driving, and congrats on finishing the job.

Its all good, but you really should look into getting one if you plan on modifying your car.

i know and i plan to...just other things are getting in the way. after replacing my rear 02 sensor, i tihnk im gonna get a apexi tt and boost gauge with the gauge bezel mount instead of the A pillar.
