car wont rev past 4grand

ok i have a 90 tsi awd talon the car loses power at like 4grand and if you push it above that it smokes blue no knocks or taps any ideas?

Same problem I had when making a few changes, like turbo...check for a vacuum leak somewhere...I had ALL the same problems, an intercooler pipe was not sealed properly and it solved it...try it

Check your knock sensor, might be disconnected or bad...
