Give you the down and dirty then I'll explain the mods...
Bought 720cc injectors...installed and can't drop the SAFC far enough to lean it out for higher boosts...sounds like bs yeah?
Check this, I have a 255lph fuel pump rewired, 720cc injectors, TEC 20G, pipes and yada yada...I was running the 20g with stock injectors with fpr up to 52 at idle no vac, ran fine to 19psi...
Swapped the injectors out and started to have problem...rememberd the fpr at 52 so I adjusted it all the way out to return to stock 42...no joy...stayed at 52...so I installed a stock regulator...no joy...before my car arrives here to Hawaii, I need a good place to think about looking for the cause...this is the first problem I have had with my DSM that I can't figure out, because when I installed the 255 it was still fp of 42...so I don;t think it is a twisted line, or fuel pump but it wouldn't make sense for the injectors to cause it either...
I can't tune it until this is solved...any help would be appreciated...math tells me that the injectors at that pressure are working as a 910cc...TOO MUCH...so lend a hand...
