car dont idle for crap after safc install

well ive double and tripple checked it everything is right on the safc.. and i didnt change any settings (air/fuel wise) but set it up for my car.

and if i sit and rev it up it dont die idles perfectly. but if im driving and push the clutch in it dies.(about 80% of the time).

any ideas?

Go in the Th-Point section and set the low trigger at 30%, and the high trigger around 80-85%. Also make sure your on proper base setting for your injectors (assuming your stock, 0%).

yeah i didnt futz w/ any of that yet.. but i unplugged the 2 wires and hooked em up together.. going to wait till i install the rest of my fuel system w/ a guy and hes going to help me do all my stuff.

You cant just install an SAFC and expect the car to run right. You need to dial it in and tune. Just follow the SAFC tuning VFAQ www.vfaq.com and it will walk you through thte process of tuning your SAFC in. If need be, I can email it to you.

i just unhooked the maf wire for now... going to leave it that way till after.. somebody up here is going to teach me how to do it all.. hes helpin me install my pte 50 trim my front mount and my injectors and fuel pump and afpr and then help me tune it all and show me how to do it.
