full boost no go!

alright finnally the car runs but now i have another problem. in first gear the turbo lags like no other, must be cuz of my 2.5 inch intercooler piping and the big as front mount. well the thing is when boost goes up the car doesnt pick up speed. the 02 dump opens up but i dont go anywhere. and in 2 gear when you hit the throttle and turbo kicks in it feels like its slowing down. you guys think its a boost leak somewhere? any help would be great thanks. also boost is set at 13 lbs.

I would do a boost leak test.

I have my pressure source tapped into my intake manifold so I know how much boost my car is getting. If it is right off or near the turbo, you could have boost leaks all over and not know it b/c your gauge is reading fine.

Where are your fuel mods? If you dont have any, its a good chance your knocking like crazy. Knock/dentonation can occur when theres alot of air, but not enough fuel (to put it in simple terms). 7 counts or + means pulled timing, and theres a good chance that happening if you dont have any fuel to go along with all youve got now. I would seriously recommend buying or borrowing a buddies logger to check your knock count. If you check out okay there, then do a leak test.

thanks for the help guys, i didnt think i needed any fuel mods tho with a 14b on 13lbs. iam gonna go pick up a safc and a logger today and see whats going on. it blows making a lot of noise and not going anywhere. you guys think that the fuel pressure regulator might have something to do with it. because the last owner said he put a non turbo regulator after i asked him if he had tht problems.
