I have a regular on/off again ticking sound coming from my fuel pressure solenoid. Is this normal, i wouldn't think so. My car is running just fine, I don't know what is going on. Someone please explain.

Does it just need R&R'd

No, I've not heard of that one before. But you don't really need the solenoid anyway, especially if it's acting funny-- just run a vacuum line from the intake manifold straight to the fuel pressure regulator and unplug the hoses from the FPS. Leave it plugged in electrically to the harness, though, or you'll get a CEL.

I dont' think it is the fp solenoid now. It is the solenoid that is to the right of the EGR solenoid, if you were looking at the engine in front of you.
