I'm looking for some ideas of what to check next.

Short story: Leaky power steering fried the alternator. Replaced alternator and fixed leaky power steering. Car wouldn't start. MPI fuse kept blowing, found that O2 sensor was at fault. Put in new O2, car wont idle super rich. Upon startup, car revs up and then dies. If I press the gas the car instantly falls on face and dies. Every once and a while the car will stay running (for a while) but pressing the gas causes the car to go lean and die.

I have a datalogger and as far as I can tell everything looks normal (TPS, TDC, Idle switch, O2 stays rich most of the time (but so does WB). If anybody would like to see my log, PM me.

Is it just coincidence that my heater in my O2 shorted the day my alternator fired, or did my alternator fry it as well as some other stuff. Anybody have an alternator fry something?

Anybody have the Vout specs on the VPC MAP sensor?

Thanks,

Well It turns out that the connector that supplies and reads the voltage from my VPC MAP sensor had been pulled slightly apart under the dash. Pushed it together and now everything seems to be working fine.
