Ok, to make a long story short I tracked down my overboosing problem to a bad MBC. I did like half a dozen 2nd or 3rd gear pulls while boosting at over 20psi. (Without knowing it)

Anyway, what kind of damage do you think I did?
Also, to find the problem I just "completed the circuit" of vacuum lines by taking out the controller and connecting the "T" to the wastegate actuator. Harmful to do except for going really slow?

Should it be boosting at all, right now it shows about 3 psi and only a few (inches?) of vacuum?

Does that sound about right?

Hint Hint.. Don't mess with boost until you have a "real" boost gauge. (ie. non dashboard factory gauge.) If you connect a vacuum hose from the pressure nipple on the turbo to the waste gate actuator nipple, it should give you stock boost. (no idea what the 14b is, but the t25 is roughly 8psi.)
