friends 91 es having problems...

okay my friend has a 91 eagle talon 2.0 nt auto....awhile ago it started running weird, only on 3 cylinder, the 4th (#1) wasnt firing. he got it compression cheched, everything good, new plugs, new wires, new injectors. still has the same problem. when you have the car running, you can unplug the #1 injector and NOTHING changes. the car idles rough and obviosuly doesnt pick up speed very fast. howver when you get above about 3000 rpms is seems to run alright. any ideas?

The Coil pack or transistor pack could be the culprit.

okay...what year coilpack would work to see if that is the problem? i have a 90 laser 2.0 nt coilpack...is that the same?

I'm pretty sure it is, they ohm the same.
