High Idle

I am having some troubles with my idle in my 95 GSX. When the car is warmed up it idles anywhere from 2000RPM to 2700RPM. What could be some causes of this. The hole for the idle screw looked like it might be a little damage, could this be causing some problems? Could it be the sensors? Any help would be greatly appriciated.

if your "idle screw" looks damaged, chances are, thats your problem

The screw it self is not damage but the hole that you screw it into might be.
