cant boost past 10 psi after Supra smic??

Hey all,
I put my supra smic on this weekend, and after the install, I took the gsx for a spin. Everything was working well, until I blew a coupling off my upper intercooler pipe. I put that back together (limped the car for a block) and then the car would not boost past 10psi. It is obvious that the wastegate is opening up at 10psi, as I have an atmosphere dump 02 housing. I fooled with the mbc (joe p) and cant get it to do anything else. I put on a different mbc I had lying around, and no change. Is there something up with my wastegate actuator (its a big 16g, internally wastegated)? What can I do to figure this out? It seems to be a dumb thing that I should have figured out, but havent yet....

try a boost leak test 1st.. see if ur letting out ur boost or not.

Do a leak test. Make sure all your IC couplers are tight (if I were you, id switch to T-Bolt/Worm clamps for more security). My buddy had the hardest time dealing with his LICP blowing off because he did not have T Bolt clamps.
