Is my ECU fried!!!!!! Please Help

The other night some Jaggoff broke into my car and ripped my S-AFC Wiring harness out from the afc and took it. Funny 'cause they can't use it now, but anyway after that happened my car is running like crap at idle and My friend said when I first took it out to test it he saw a small fireball shoot out the exhaust. Basically at a stand still (Its an Auto GSX '98) from WOT it acts like a metro with bad rings untill it's put into boost, then its fine. Also the release air from my BOV seems to be going out the air filter instead of the BOV. Like the throttle is blocked off or some crap. I NEED HELP!!!

So you're running the car now with 550's and no fuel tuning device? The car is probably just running slobbering rich since the factory ECU thinks its sending signals to 450's.

I didn't put in the afc, a local shop did, is there a chip that goes on the ecu that works with the AFC? They never told me if they installed an e-prom, although they could have included that into the install price. It's basically behaving as though I still had the AFC and had the ing. setting on hotwire. if you have one set it on one of the non "dsm friendly" settings and you'll have the behavior of my car. I also disconected the battery to clear the ECU but it didn't help.

well your wire from the mas is cut in half and routed through the afc......without the afc your mas isnt sending a signal, same as having it unplugged, you need to get in there and splice the mas wire back together and it should be fine, the rest of the wires are only tapped into
