Electrical Proble?

My friend has a 95 TSI AWD, me and him were driving it around the other night, and everything just started to dim, the SRS light came on, CD Player cut off, Headlights would barely shine. We thought it was the battery, so we put in a Optima Deep Cycle Battery, we thought we had fixed it, well it still does this, so we changed altenators, still the same problem! hes considering selling it becuase of this, help quick!

do u have a aftermarket stero in it? my buddies integra did the EXACT same thing, ne way his stero was shorting out the alt, abd causeing it to blow alt.s check that

naww we are pretty sure taht it isnt that, its an aftermarket CD Player, not really a stereo system, it worked b4 that. We think we have figured it out, a bad altenator from AutoZone, so we are getting his one that was on the car b4 rebuilt.
