Well i installed my MBC today. The problem i am having is the boost wont stay consistant, it isnt spiking or anything like that.

As an example, the boost will say 15psi, then while giving it WOT the boost guage will fluctuate between 15psi and 18psi.

do you guys have any clue as to why it would be doing this? I installed it like this diagram shows http://www.geocities.com/chmwatson/FAQs/mbc.html

These are my mods:
Removed Aircan
3in mandrel bent exhaust
test pipe
crushed BOV
walbro 255 fuel pump
FPR
2nd gen TBE
autometer boost guage

Another problem that happened was while it was cool out tonight, i hit fuel cut. I have heard mixed reviews on modding the MAF, but i have also heard of some people installing a type of "flapper" where the lower honey combs are placed to help the MAF with idle once the hack has been done. I cannot find a writeup anywhere on the "flapper" mod to the MAF and would like to find out more info on it. I have done some extensive searching on quite a few message boards and i still cannot find any info the MAF hack besides removing the loewr honeycomb.

TIA
-Chris

Well, i pulled the MAS out today to look at it, and it appears that its already missing the lower honey comb. I'm wondering why im still hitting fuel cut even when its only at 16psi?
